AVN Institute of Engineering & Technology (AVNIET), established in 2009 with an initial intake of 240 students and is a premier autonomous institution in the sub urban of Hyderabad, affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad(JNTUH). Presently the total intake of the college is 900 students.
The college was accredited by NAAC with a B++ grade in 2018 and was re-accredited with an ‘A’ grade in 2022. The institute has been granted autonomous status from the academic year 2023–24 onwards for a period of 10 years.
All major undergraduate (UG) programmes of the institute were accredited by the NBA in 2019, and the accreditation has been renewed up to December 2028.
AVNIET currently offers eight B.Tech programs in CSE, CSE(Cyber Security), CSE(AI & ML), CSE(Data Science), AI & DS, ECE, Civil, and Mechanical, besides four M.Tech programs.
AVNIET is situated at 17 km distance from central Hyderabad in a calm, pollution-free and serene environment. The institute emphasizes academic excellence while promoting harmony, mutual respect, cultural inclusiveness and collaborative learning among students, faculty and staff.
