Dr. Madhu Nakirekanti is an accomplished academician and quality assurance leader with over 12 years of experience in teaching, research, and institutional development. He holds a Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Osmania University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science along with Domain Certification in Data Science from NPTEL. He completed his M.Tech and B.Tech degrees from JNTU Hyderabad.
At AVN Institute of Engineering and Technology (AVNIET), he serves as the Head of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Associate Professor, where he leads institution-wide quality enhancement initiatives aligned with accreditation and assessment frameworks. His efforts focus on strengthening academic processes, promoting Outcome-Based Education (OBE), and ensuring continuous improvement across departments.
His academic and research interests include Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Python Programming. He adopts project-based and experiential teaching methodologies that help students develop industry-relevant skills, innovative thinking, and real-world problem-solving abilities.
Dr. Madhu is a dedicated researcher with more than 30 publications in reputed international journals and conferences. He has received multiple awards and recognitions from national organizations such as NPTEL, MSME, and other professional bodies for his contributions to academic excellence, mentorship, and quality enhancement initiatives.
As the SPOC of the NPTEL Local Chapter at AVNIET, he actively promotes MOOCs and encourages students and faculty to utilize online learning platforms for upskilling, certification, and continuous professional development.
With a strong commitment to academic leadership, innovation, and institutional excellence, Dr. Madhu Nakirekanti continues to play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement at AVNIET through systematic planning, monitoring, and strategic academic initiatives.
